CACFP/SFSP Food Services Specialist
The CACFP/SFSP Food Service Specialist will assist the Director of Food Services to ensure the YMCA is a sponsor for both SFSP and CACFP and have the additional responsibility of ensuring all reporting, documentation, claim submission, monitoring visits, and eligibility requirements remain in good standing. As a new position, the CACFP/SFSP Food Service Specialist will need to have the ability to adapt job responsibilities, oversight, and have a creative vision so that this position can grow in the future as we paint a picture of what it will look like to grow our food programs and the Y’s ability to help feed more and more children. Three years of experience in a professional capacity in a Child and Adult Care Food Program and/or Summer Food Service Program in an administrative capacity is required. Computer skills and knowledge of windows, excel, adobe and word at an intermediate or advanced level is preferred.
