About

The Dr. Yum Project is a pediatrician-founded and led non-profit organization on a mission to help families and communities overcome the barriers to eating well.  The most important way we do this is through Dr. Yum’s Preschool Food Adventure, a two-year, multi-sensory, interactive nutrition curriculum with strong family involvement and research to prove it works.  Now in our 10th year, we are proud partners with the National Head Start Association and currently have more than 8,300 Head Start and Early Head Start students, plus 7,500 kids in a wide array of early childhood settings participating in the Adventure across the country ~ including a pilot program with the YMCA of the USA!
