Healthy Planet, Healthy Kids

Have you ordered your calendars yet? The theme for our 2027 CACFP Nutrition Calendar and Training Program is Healthy Planet, Healthy Kids. Children will learn about ways that they can keep the planet healthy and beautiful all year long, while also learning about the importance of nutrition. Each calendar also comes with a five-hour training module, activity pages, parent connection newsletters, a recipe book and motivation moments. Orders close on June 12.

Kelly Rodriguez joined 4-C Community Coordinated Child Care in 2023 as an assistant and field monitor, and quickly learned the ropes to step into the CACFP director position two years later. Currently, 4-C serves as a sponsoring organization to 108 family child care home providers that provide nutritious meals and snacks to nearly 1,100 children.
