In 2015, The Farmers’ Truck started as a social enterprise to bring fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables to underserved communities through mobile farmers’ markets in New Brunswick, Canada. 

Today, The Farmers’ Truck empowers non-governmental organizations across North America to launch their own mobile market by offering a key-in-hand mobile market vehicle, training, and much more. From California to New York, The Farmers’ Truck is improving food access for thousands of Americans.

In 2021, The Farmers’ Truck assisted 43 organizations with their mobile market fundraising efforts and empowered 13 new mobile market programs with organizations in 10 different states. 

With locations in Moncton, NB, and Bakersfield, CA, The Farmers' Truck is well equipped to handle the needs of our mobile market partners. This includes offering guidance and expertise, to assisting with fundraising, launching a mobile market program, and ensuring program sustainability.
