The meal pattern is the foundation of every CACFP menu, and the questions it raises don't always have obvious answers. Spend a day with our nutrition team, and we'll work together on the meal pattern topics we hear about most:

How requirements differ for infants, toddlers, children and adults, and how to adjust menus accordingly

How to use Nutrition Facts labels and ingredient lists to find what matters

When to reach for a CN Label, a Product Formulation Statement or the Food Buying Guide

How fruits, vegetables, juice, smoothies, beans, peas and lentils credit

How to identify whole grain-rich foods and evaluate menus for grain compliance

We'll close the day with a live Q&A to tie it all together and make sure you’re ready to apply what you've learned.
