CGBI seeks to promote optimal feeding norms and increased quality of care through research, service, and training. We engage with ECE stakeholders and work together to ensure lactating people have supportive experiences and essential accommodations.
Professional Development resources range from a Breastfeeding Friendly Child Care toolkit to online modules. Breastfeeding University offers self-paced modules in a user-friendly format for ECE.
Our Continuity of Care (CoC) toolkit, designed to integrate the child care industry into the lactation support infrastructure, can be used by healthcare and ECE providers interacting with families before, during, and after birth.
