Partnership Development Associate
Summary
Work with nonprofit organizations, businesses and corporations to further support the work of NCA and its members. Solicit and manage partnerships which are mutually beneficial and whose outcomes both accomplish the goals of NCA and its partners.
Key Responsibilities
Events: Sponsors, Exhibitors, Advertisers
- Solicit exhibitor/ sponsor/ advertiser prospects for conference and virtual events
- Serve as exhibitor coordinator at in-person conference (mid-April)
- Manage communication with event partners
- Coordinate website content for exhibitors/sponsors/ advertisers
- Track and manage exhibitor/sponsor/advertiser deliverables and ROI
- Meet financial goals
- Draft final event reports
Website Opportunities
- Solicit partner participation in online advertising, including:
- CACFP In the Kitchen
- Creditable Foods Directory
- Buyer’s Guide
- Coordinate website content
- Track and manage deliverables and ROI
- Meet financial goals
Other
- Support the Director of Policy and Partnerships
- Travel to Annual Conference (mid-April) / Team Retreat (fall)
- Additional projects and responsibilities as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, professional selling or a related field of study; significant work experience can substitute for the degree
- Two or more years of work experience in related field
- Demonstrated experience in planning, organizing and executing projects of varying complexity and delivering them within specified timeframes and budgets
- Excellent communication skills, including writing, proof reading skills, and speaking
• Ability and confidence to manage and accomplish multiple simultaneous projects and work assignments with little supervision.
• Proficient using the Web to conduct research as well as with the latest versions of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
